PFE MODULE 3 & 4: The Content & Cycle of Written PFE Policies (LEA & School) and The PFE Program Evaluation and Annual Title I Meeting Virtual - 35786

Module 3: This session covers the requirements of both the LEA and school policy. Attendees will discuss ways to get parent input on the policies as well as different evaluation methods. Even if the policy is already existing, this training can help attendees revise it as needed to meet compliance as well as better serve their families and school(s). Attendees will walk away with sample policies, policy templates, evaluation methods, and knowledge of the requirements outlined in ESSA 1116. Modules 4: This training helps schools review the data over their PFE documents and program to prepare for next year’s PFE Program cycle beginning with the Annual Title I, Part A Meeting. Attendees will walk away with a plan for their PFE program, PFE documents, as well as an agenda for the required Annual Title I, Part A Meeting.

Objectives
Participants will analyze Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) data, documents, and program requirements; learn the LEA and campus PFE policy requirements and the agenda requirements for the Annual Title I, Part A Meeting; evaluate strategies for building parent and family capacity as outlined in ESSA Section 1116; and develop a comprehensive plan for the upcoming PFE program cycle that enhances family engagement and supports student success.
