Watch us Soar - New McKinney-Vento Liaison Cohort 2025 – Virtual Virtual - 34546

Are you a Homeless Liaison with less than 2 years of experience? Would you like to be a part of a group to navigate this new journey you are on? Join us as we soar together into the new year. This semester-long cohort will rotate between in-person and virtual sessions. We will examine the duties of the McKinney-Vento Liaison, discuss best practices, and connect with other new liaisons as well as ESC Region 11 REACH staff. Objectives
New homeless liaisons describe the key responsibilities and duties of a McKinney-Vento Liaison, including legal requirements and best practices for identifying, supporting, and ensuring educational stability for homeless students. Participants will engage in collaborative discussions and problem-solving activities with fellow liaisons and REACH staff to share experiences, challenges, and solutions.
