Exploratory Emporium: A STEAM Day for Students Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired - 34526
STEAM Day is a celebration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics! Enjoy hands-on activities that engage all five senses, including tactile experiences and auditory feedback, inspire creativity, and encourage problem solving. This is an Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) event for students who are blind or visually impaired. This event addresses Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 8 (IEP Implementation), 12 (Instructional Strategies), and 23 (Connection to Community and School Climate.)

Objectives
Participants will complete at least three STEAM-based activities such as building simple machines, conducting chemical reactions, or creating sound-based experiments.
Participants will list two examples of how STEAM disciplines contribute to a comprehensive solution. (e.g., How technology and engineering support environmental science, or how the arts communicate complex scientific ideas to a broader audience).
