ESC Region 11 Certification Programs Annual Advisory Meeting - 34449
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is responsible for overseeing alternative certification programs (ACP) in the state of Texas. All ACPs are required to hold annual advisory committee meetings where key stakeholders, including educators, policymakers, school administrators, and other education leaders, come together to discuss and review ESC Region 11s certification programs. Prerequisite/Special Notes
Participants must have received an invitation from the GoTeach11 or GoLead11 programs.
Objectives
The primary objective is to assess whether the program aligns with industry standards and meets the needs of both learners and districts. This involves reviewing key performance indicators, such as pass rates, participant feedback, and employment outcomes, to identify areas for improvement. The meeting also provides an opportunity to ensure that the certification curriculum stays relevant by incorporating feedback from key stakeholders at the district level.
