ESSA Section 1116 outlines requirements for Parent and Family Engagement. This session is the second of four training modules related to these requirements. This module will provide a deep dive into the LEA PFE Policy, School PFE Policy, and the Shared Responsibilities for High Student Academic Achievement (Family Compact). This session will provide critical information for both district-level ESSA grants staff and campus leaders on Title I, Part A campuses.

Objectives
Participants will be able to examine the components of the LEA PFE Policy, School PFE Policy, and the Family Compact, analyzing their effectiveness in promoting high student academic achievement. Participants will collaborate in small groups to discuss actionable strategies for implementing these policies on Title I, Part A campuses, demonstrating their ability to enhance parent and family engagement.
