Part II of the Life Plan: Learning the Administration of the Life Plan Through Case Study Reviews and Design Thinking - 34179

Participants will engage in analyzing the Life Plan model through case studies and design thinking which takes a person-centered approach to decision-making and problem-solving. The stages of analysis will include data collection, planning the meeting, the role of Life Plan participants, conducting the Life Plan, analyzing the results, and using assessment data to develop a results-driven IEP, including the Present Levels of Academic and Functional Performance, the Coordinated Set of Activities, transition services, and a results-driven IEP that provides meaningful, educational benefit. This session is aligned with the transition component of the TEA-required self-assessment and SPPI-13.
