APE Means Awesome PE Including Students with Visual Impairments and Complex Access Needs - 33131

This fast-paced, action-packed, full-day workshop will be a bundle of fun and provide professionals with more than 50 easy, quick, physical games and activities to play with students. The activities, designed for indoor and outdoor settings, require minimal equipment, are appropriate for small or large classes, and are created to ensure young children, students with complex access needs, and students with low to no vision are included in the general education PE setting. Come prepared to laugh, learn, and participate! This session addresses Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12.
