2023-2024 ESC Region 11 Migrant Education Program Update and Workday - 31334

Participants will learn about new procedures, policies, and strategies related to the 2023-2024 Migrant Education Program. We will also discuss any state and federal updates. Participants will examine how their district/charter can implement and/or streamline strategies in order to best serve migratory children. Topics to be addressed include Priority for Service (PFS) implementation and monitoring training, Parent Advisory Council (PAC) details/sign-ups, and identification and recruitment (ID&R) requirements. We will provide a framework for tools and procedures in the 2023-2024 school year during the morning and will complete required forms and documentation in the afternoon. District/charter school personnel who serve migrant students are encouraged to attend.
