North Texas Teen Book Festival Teacher Professional Development - Books, Books, Books: A Symposium for Educators @NTTBF 2023 - 30935
This session will feature amazing authors and guests who will share the best new books for readers and focus on practical and exciting ways to engage young readers from upper elementary through high school. Join Sam Houston State University College of Education Library Science faculty as they welcome special guests Brian Selznick, Kate DiCamillo, Angie Thomas, Dan Santat, Angeline Boulley, Melissa de la Cruz, and more than two dozen MG and YA authors to North Texas! This session will take place at the Irving Convention Center.
We ask that educators do not bring children to Educator Day; NTTBF provides a free, all-day festival on Saturday, March 4th for readers of all ages. (Parking is $10.00 both days at the Irving Convention Center.)
*This session is being facilitated by the North Texas Teen Book Festival team, and ESC Region 11 is providing support and attendance confirmation.
