This is Part 2 of a six-part series. Turning 18 is an important age when receiving or applying for Social Security benefits. Families of students with disabilities will gain information on what to do if currently not on benefits or if benefits have been denied, and what to do if currently receiving benefits.

Prerequisite/Special Notes
This is a Texas Workforce Commission Charting the Course Initiative. Families are encouraged to attend each session in the series. Families will have the opportunity to schedule confidential one-on-one benefits counseling with a Certified Community Work Incentive Counselor.
