Marzano's 6-Step Process for Learning Vocabulary for English Learners - 27831

This Academic Vocabulary workshop focuses on providing English Learners with the tools they need to intentionally use academic vocabulary in their instruction while giving students the strategies they need to explore, describe, and contextualize academic vocabulary across all content areas. Join us as we explore Marzano's Six-Step Process for Vocabulary Acquisition: 1. Describe Visually 2. Describe in Writing 3. Draw 4. Use Frayer Models 5. Accountable Talk 6. Play with Words. This is a virtual session accessible through Zoom, and participants will receive three (3) Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE).
