Texas Transition Fair for Students Who Are Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing - 27134
This week-long, statewide, online, asynchronous event will provide helpful resources and activities for students who are deaf/hard-of-hearing to explore as they make important decisions, investigate options, and prepare to maneuver life after high school. Participants will learn about college and technical school options, career readiness, independent living, community resources, and assistive technology specific to the D/HH population. The target audience for this event: D/HH high school students in Texas (students served in their home districts, a charter school, or a private school AND students served by an RDSPD), parents, guardians, and professionals working with D/HH students.

Objectives
D/HH students, their parents, and professionals working with the D/HH population will gather information about post-high school topics including career opportunities, colleges and technical schools, independent living, assistive technology, and community resources.
