Read alouds are a golden opportunity to build strong foundations for comprehension skills that Pre-K and Kindergarten students will use for their entire academic career and throughout life. Learn how to set a purpose for students while they listen to read alouds that will allow them to: develop higher-level comprehension of texts, learn and use newly acquired academic vocabulary, and use this new learning to engage in academic discussions while demonstrating their learning in writing.
