Early Childhood: Introduction to Effective Read Alouds for Pre-K and Kindergarten - 25016

Read alouds are a golden opportunity to build strong foundations for comprehension skills that Pre-K and Kindergarten students will use for their entire academic career and throughout life. Learn how to set a purpose for students while they listen to read alouds that will allow them to: develop higher-level comprehension of texts, learn and use newly acquired academic vocabulary, and use this new learning to engage in academic discussions while demonstrating their learning in writing. Our students may be small, but their learning can be VERY BIG, indeed!
