Rethinking the Relationship Between MTSS and SPED (In-Person) - 36346
In this session, Dr. Schultz will share key insights on gathering the necessary data to inform a good referral in order to determine if an initial evaluation is actually needed. Participants will learn how Tier 1, Tier 2, and special education practices work together under Texas MTSS, Child Find, and SLD guidance to inform data-driven decision-making, ensure fidelity, and achieve inclusive outcomes that support school and district leaders in strengthening MTSS implementation to improve prevention, intervention, and instructional decision-making.
