Counseling As a Related Service - 33977
This session will explore the unique nature of Special Ed (IEP) counseling and how it differs from the general counseling offered to all students by the school counselor. Evaluation instruments will be used to identify eligibility, develop IEP goals, group vs. individual counseling, monitor progress, and determine when dismissal from counseling services is appropriate.
This session aligns with the TEA-required self-assessment's evaluation and behavior components.
