This training is for employees of the West 10 Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD). It is designed to address effective translanguaging in order to ensure language access and learning for students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH). This session will focus on various laws, guidance documents, and research, and it allows participants to explore translanguaging and apply its use in their own classrooms. This session aligns with the following components of the TEA-required Special Education Self Assessment: 2, 6, and 12.
