Holiday Fun: An Expanded Core Curriculum Event for Students with Visual Impairments - 33385
This Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) event for students who are visually impaired is designed to improve social, auditory, sensory efficiency, and self-determination skills. A variety of activities including a scavenger hunt, cookie decorating, and holiday character interactions will be provided. This session addresses the TEA Special Education Self-Assessment indicators 6, 8, 12, 22, and 23.

Objectives
Student participants will increase their their social skills through participating in various activities related to the expanded core curriculum.
Adult participants will demonstrate an increased knowledge of how to implement additional activities at home or in the communities that address expanded core curriculum events by helping students complete a variety of ecc activities.
