Instructional mathematics coaches are our superheroes! This five-part, in-person series is designed for instructional coaches who support mathematics teachers in elementary and secondary classrooms. Additionally, this series will provide a community of peers to share and learn methods for improving their coaching and leadership skills. In session 2, iCoaches will explore strategies that support sound mathematical pedagogy. This session will focus on research-based practices that will produce lasting results in elementary and secondary classrooms. iCoaches will engage in strategies and routines that promote sense-making, higher-order thinking, and mathematical discourse.
