Bored with Boards? Engaging Strategies for Dynamic Discussion Boards - 30002
Are your students getting bored with online discussion boards? Too often, we give students conventional prompts for a discussion board, and we find that they are unlikely to do any meaningful thinking or writing. This session will engage students by accommodating diverse learning approaches and inviting multimodal and personal responses. Educators will walk away with ideas that inspire students to read, respond, and engage with peers multiple times in an online discussion.
