Statewide Speech-Language Pathology Webinar #1: If Dismissal Is the Answer, What Questions Should We Be Asking? - 29636

One of the most complex situations for a school-based speech-language pathologist is determining when to dismiss a student from services, particularly when the data is not clear and concise. In this session, participants will explore how to accurately determine the reasons for the lack of student progress; how to write SMART goals for data collection that will lead to clear, concise outcomes; and how to explain dismissal to staff and parents for a more collaborative, mutually understood outcome.
