Everything You Learned in Graduate School and Forgot as a Practitioner: Ethical Dilemmas in Assessment - 29490
This session will provide a thought-provoking discussion of ethical issues that school psychologists face. Through examples and interactive participant discussion, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) ethical principles and their application will come to life. Participants will develop strategies for responding to different scenarios ethically, learn more about common assessment practices that LSSPs utilize, and review concepts taught in graduate school such as reliability, validity, sensitivity, and specificity and why these terms still matter.
ASHA CEUs will not be awarded at this session. The primary audience is for LSSPs and Diagnosticians.
