Project Restore: Trauma-Informed Training Series - 29016

As a result of school closures and remote learning due to COVID-19, students have been at higher risk of exposure due to adverse childhood experiences. Educators have experienced a prolonged state of stress and concerns regarding loss of safety, health, and predictability. Join us as we explore and discuss TEA's six-part trauma-informed video series. In these sessions, participants will connect with relevant science and strategies that can help address emotional needs of educators, students, and colleagues.

Objectives
The learner will recognize how trauma manifests in behavior, emotions, learning, and the body. The learner will be able to identify strategies to cope with stress. The learner will understand how to create an environment that jump-starts learning and drives student achievement.
