Tactile Maps with Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired - 28617

This is a virtual session with TSBVI. Participants will increase their knowledge and skills in drawing Tactile Maps in Word. The target audience for this session includes Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists, and Braille Transcribers. It is designed to assist in the creation of maps for students who need a map that they can "feel" versus "see" while travelling to and in various locations. It is also designed to assist Braille Transcribers with creating maps for social studies, history, and geography classes.
