Secondary Math World Tour: Using the 5 Practices for Math Discourse (@ Lake Dallas ISD) - 28083
So exactly what are we TALKING about? The 5 Practices of Mathematical Discourse are a systematic way to craft math tasks to promote student learning through student discourse. This session is designed to develop strategies that bring a voice to all students. Participants will leverage the language routines Notice/Wonder, Which One Doesn't Belong?, and Same and Different as drivers for student success. Participants will explore each activity as a student and as a teacher as they experience the 5 Practices of Mathematical Discourse. This Math World Tour location is Lake Dallas ISD. We will contact you with the location address as soon as it becomes available.
