(Denton ISD) Cross Linguistic Connections for Middle School Bilingual Classrooms - 28015
This session will give teachers the tools they need to bring ALL of their students' linguistic strengths to bear during instruction and interaction in the Middle School Bilingual Classroom. Teachers will explore what cross-linguistic connections are and the pedagogical methods that allow students to leverage ALL of their language knowledge and language modalities while simultaneously making content comprehensible through the acquisition of academic vocabulary.
