Ethnic Studies Conference - 27578
ESC Regions 10 and 11 invite you to attend a two-day Ethnic Studies Conference hosted by Frisco ISD. This in-person event will include presentations by the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum and districts like Dallas ISD that have already implemented the TEA-approved Ethnic Studies courses. In addition, there will be sessions from content experts and teachers. There will be opportunities to learn about course content and teaching with cultural sensitivity, including Social Emotional Learning and different approaches to structuring the courses. There will also be time built into the two days for application and reflection. Lunch will be provided on both days. We hope you will be a part of these important, timely conversations as we navigate a new direction in social studies education.
