Help your young readers stay ahead of the pack by focusing on skills involving initial sounds. Studies show the ability to identify initial sounds plays an important role in building early literacy skills. This session will feature ways to support our young reader's race to success with phonological awareness skills such as listening, alliteration, onset-rime, and isolating initial phonemes.
