SLD Series #1: Understanding SLD by Understanding the Typical Development Processes - 26794
The purpose of this series is to equip the educational diagnostician for the current challenges regarding SLD identification (COVID-19, Corrective Action Plan, over- and under-identification). These sessions are best delivered in a blended manner in the following sequence: (1) study materials delivered one week prior to training (1 hour); (2) the virtual training session (3 hours); and (3) follow-up activity consisting of a brief activity and quiz (2 hours), due one week after. This sequence allows the learner to distribute his or her learning, reflect and practice, and make connections to the actual practice.
