Engage by Design Content Series: Applications of Newton's Laws in Grade 8 Science - 26745
Looking at and experiencing Newton's Laws in everyday activities can give students a better understanding of what each law is really about. These experiences include the roles that potential and kinetic energy play. Session experiences will include relating potential and kinetic energy to each of Newton's Three Laws in everyday practical applications. Instruction will be provided utilizing Pear Deck or Nearpod.

Objectives
For teachers to experience and walk away with information and experiences to use with students that solidify the concepts related to motion and Newton's Laws and strategies for getting students to read, write, listen and speak about the concepts.
