Geometry and Spatial Reasoning in Early Childhood for English Learners - 26525

This is a continuation in a series of Academic Vocabulary workshops focused on providing teachers of English Learners with the tools they need to intentionally use academic vocabulary in their instruction while giving students the strategies they need to explore, describe, and contextualize academic vocabulary across all content areas. Join us as we explore how to help English Learners in an early childhood classroom how to describe and categorize geometric shapes and spatial relationships, both orally and in writing. We will also explore digital tools that will allow teachers to use these strategies in virtual classroom settings!
