In the state of Texas, both public and charter school districts are required to provide students who have a language other than English and are identified as an English learner with an opportunity to participate in a bilingual education or ESL (English as a Second Language) program. This is a self-paced course in Canvas that provides an overview of English learner compliance and instruction in Texas.
Please note:
This course is open from June 22 - July 31, 2020. Participants will not receive immediate credit upon completion of the course. Credit will be awarded on July 7, July 20, and August 3, 2020.
