All LEAs are required by Texas Education Agency and the IDEA to develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices related to the provision of special education services to eligible students. This is not a riveting topic, but a necessary one. Each LEAs' operating procedures must be submitted into the Legal Framework by October 31, 2020. This course is designed as a work group that allows participants to examine, engage, and share procedures. The presenters will review operating procedure requirements and optional templates. The targeted audience is special education directors with Legal Framework administrator's access.
