Braille Production Webinar Series: Tables in Braille - 24449
Tables are used in print to present information and data in a very structured formatm but they can be challenging for print readers. They can be even more challenging in braille. In this session, we will look at a variety of print tables, review the guiding principles for transcribing them to braille, and software techniques and challenges. Using a Zoom webinar connection, the webinar will be presented by Susan O'Brien, an expert in Braille production, from Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Participants are encouraged to submit questions or worksheets to Ms. O'Brien before and during the workshop.
**This workshop will not teach the Braille Code. Participants are expected to know braille before attending the webinar.
