Braille Production Webinar Series: Charts and Graphs, Part 1 - for New and Beginner Transcribers - 24447
This session will focus on the skills needed to create tactile graphics and is aimed at new transcribers and TVIs. Using a Zoom webinar connection, the webinar will be presented by Susan OBrien, an expert in Braille production from Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Participants are encouraged to submit questions or worksheets to Ms. OBrien before and during the workshop.
**This workshop will not teach the Braille Code. Participants are expected to know braille before attending the webinar.

Objectives
Braille Transcribers and/or Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments will learn how to create documents in braille and to develop tactile graphics. The workshop is designed primarily for participants who previously completed an introductory Duxbury training.
