ELAR TEKS Deep Dive for Curriculum Writers, 9-12 - 23713
Participants will deconstruct the revised ELAR TEKS so they feel ready to engage in curriculum writing and crafting of assessments at the campus or district level. A side-by-side analysis of current and revised TEKS will be reviewed as well as a thorough analysis of the verbs and potential outcomes at a mastery level. Participants will have a chance to practice with each strand in order to fully understand what students are asked to know and do with an emphasis on vertical alignment in grade-level bands.
