DESCRIPTION:This training, designed for new and novice teachers working with students with low incidence disabilities, significant cognitive disabilities, and/or are medically fragile, will cover the knowledge and skills necessary to support students effectively through completion of the Rubric of Effective Practices courses. These hybrid courses, aligned with the Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities, highlight best practices for facilitating learning for students with the most complex access needs. 

A coaching component, led by subject matter experts, is included to assist educators in confidently applying their learning with fidelity. Coaching offers personalized, job-embedded support based on four research-based practices proven to enhance instruction: building alliances, observation, modeling, and performance feedback.
