This training is designed to equip new early childhood special education (ECSE) teachers with the essential knowledge and tools to start the school year with confidence. This hands-on session will cover ECSE fundamentals, effective classroom design, state standards, and high-leverage, evidence-based practices. Participants will explore the power of visual supports and create their own take-home materials to use in their classrooms right away. To keep the momentum going, each participant will receive a follow-up coaching session at their campus to reinforce learning and provide personalized support. This session is aligned with the instructional strategies component of the TEA-required self-assessment and SPP Indicator 6.
