DESCRIPTION:
Designed for Education Service Center (ESC) trainers and coaches of teachers of students with complex access needs (CAN), students who are blind or visually impaired (BVI), and students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH), these virtual quarterly meetings will consist of staggered content sessions. This will allow attendees to join the sessions relevant to their areas. Before each meeting, an agenda will be sent out with specific times and topics for each content area. Valuable information related to these three content areas and the implementation of the Statewide Initiative Implementation Plan (SIIP) will be shared. According to the 2024-2025 SIIP, ESC trainers/coaches and representatives should prioritize these meetings. The meetings will be recorded for future viewing if an ESC trainer/coach or representative cannot attend. These meetings address Special Education Self-Assessment strategies #1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23.
