This session will help participants understand the concept of reinforcement. Reinforcement is one of an educator's most powerful behavior management tools. Reinforcement can be used to teach new skills, teach a replacement behavior for an interfering behavior, increase appropriate behaviors, or increase on-task behavior (AFIRM Team, 2015).
