They will analyze their own subject's TEKS and how they correlate with lesson design, student learning outcomes, and vertical alignment. Attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of how to use their own standards to impact high-leverage instruction. The session also contains information on how to bring social-emotional learning and the TEKS together and how to maximize measurement of student learning whether in a virtual classroom or face-to-face. This session is worth three credit hours.
