DESCRIPTION:This online workshop will be live and is intended for those who are teaching or plan to teach and/or transcribe music for their K-12 students. "Intro to Music Braille" covers fundamental topics in order for participants to successfully transcribe a simple piece of music by the end of the workshop. No musical background is required.

SOFTWARE
This is a hands-on training, and each attendee must have access to a working laptop or PC with a functioning camera and mic. Computers should be able to run the following (free) software applications: Zoom and PerkyDuck. Zoom will be used for interactive virtual presentations and the PerkyDuck braille software will be used to complete assignments.
