DESCRIPTION:Create three book adaptations for children with visual impairments and leave with lesson plans! During this make-and-take session, you will adapt several books for early readers who are blind or low vision.  The presenter will provide lesson plans for all literary works. Planning ahead provides more opportunities for students to participate in inclusive literacy activities. This in an engaging workshop on addressing the varied literacy needs of students with visual impairments. 

The participants will:
- Review literacy lesson plans.
- Identify adaptations for individual students.
- Create modified children books for immediate use.
