DESCRIPTION:ESC Region 11 technology staff will be hosting a collaborative workday to review and help districts with security planning assessment based on the SB 820 expectations. The day will consist of reviewing the self-assessment work from previous workdays to plan and document mitigation policies as required by SB 820.  Policy templates and documentation will be provided to help districts move forward on the framework as well as develop plans to be approved by TEA.  This session is limited to the districts that have taken part in the Technology Service Contract through the online contract system or utilizing a service agreement in place for the 2019-20 school year.
