Braille Talk 2023-2024: An Informational Session for Braillists and Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments - 32432

This virtual workshop is for Braille transcribers and any person responsible for Braille production in an educational setting. Sue O'Brien, Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Braille Transcriber/Adapted Materials Specialist, will discuss topics related to creating, adapting, and developing accessible classroom materials in a Braille format. Featured topics include MathType, Braille Math, Tactile Graphics, tables in Braille, and foreign languages in Braille. Special Education Self-Assessment indicators to be addressed during this workshop include numbers 2, 6, 7, 8, 9,11,12, and 18.
